Saving Faces are delighted to welcome and introduce our newest member to the team, Dr Zbys Fedorowicz. Zbys joined us at the end of October as a Research Consultant.
Sarah Furnell was a long-standing researcher at Saving Faces for 7 years having worked on multiple research projects, a major national audit, sang along at 8 Christmas Carol concerts and represented Saving Faces at dozens of conferences. Even now as she embarks on her new adventure, she continues to support Saving Faces.

A massive thank you to all our friends and supporters for attending our annual Christmas Carols on the evening of Friday 15th of December 2017. We hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful music by the Chelsea Opera Group and their Director, Neil Bell at the beautiful setting of St Bartholomew the Great.
13/12/2017: It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear friend and patron Patricia Wicking has passed away. Pat had previously been treated successfully for breast cancer with surgery and radiotherapy but 2 years ago was diagnosed with cancer of the womb and despite fighting bravely for 2 years, the cancer returned more aggressively and she passed away peacefully on 14th November 2017.

On 17th of June, Gwendolen Davis celebrated her 80th birthday by raising funds for Saving Faces! She celebrated in style with a fundraising party at the Queen Elizabeth Public House in Chingford. Seventy guests from 16 different countries were invited to a buffet lunch. The event also coincided with Jo Cox’s husband’s request for the celebration of things we have in common rather than concentrating on our differences.
