This year Saving Faces will be partnering with Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance, to help raise awareness and encourage donations in this much neglected research area. We are delighted to announce that Saving Faces will be attending The Aesthetics Business Conference on 10th September 2018 where Founder Professor Iain Hutchison, Director of the National Facial, Oral and Oculoplastic Research Centre (NFORC), will be speaking about the charity’s vital work and the huge advances in facial surgery over the last 50 years.

Facial trauma, the resultant injuries and psychiatric sequale are little understood. The effects can be devastating and occasionally early management is essential for full recovery to be achieved. Facial injuries all too often come hand in hand with other severe injuries, such as head injuries, and can understandably be overlooked.

Professor Hutchison will be speaking at the inaugural Debate of the London Press Club and Hippocratic Post on Thursday the 26th of May 2016.
On Tuesday 12th April, Saving Faces rolled out the red carpet for a preview screening of “Eye in the Sky”, Alan Rickman’s last film before he died.
The Phoenix Cinema in Finchley have offered to host a screening of “Robin Hood : Prince of Thieves” on Sunday 24 January 2016 at 12:00 noon. This is in memory of Patron Alan Rickman and Professor Hutchison will be there to introduce the film. 50% of all proceeds will be donated to Saving Faces.
