As the UK’s head and neck surgical trials unit, NFORC is dedicated to developing, running and coordinating high quality clinical research in wide range of clinical topics relevant to the head and neck.
We acknowledge that trainees and students are very important in creating new ideas and expanding our knowledge in research. Therefore, we are hosting an event specifically for medical trainees and students.
This event is an opportunity for you to learn about NFORC and our upcoming projects, and how you can get involved. The speaker line-up includes experienced surgeons and researchers.
Additionally, there is an exciting opportunity for 6 students to present their research idea of a future collaborative project at the research summit. If you are interested in presenting an idea, please send us a 200-word structured abstract following the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparator and Outcome) format (if applicable) on a topic related to the head and neck. Students need to submit their abstracts before the 10th of June. The presentations will be judged by a panel of research experts, and the student with the best and most feasible research presentation will have a chance to collaborate with NFORC.
Regardless of presenting a research idea, all students will be awarded certificates for attending.
