We invite you to a fascinating and stimulating event jointly organised by Saving Faces and the Royal Society of Medicine called “Medicine and Me: Living with facial trauma” on Monday 22nd January 2018 in London.
About the event
There will be a series of dramatic and inspiring short talks by patients describing their experiences of facial injury following domestic violence, general trauma and gang violence. This will be accompanied by internationally renowned surgeons and experts discussing innovative approaches to reduce gang and domestic violence and research to improve the physical treatment of facial trauma and the psychological recovery from this.
“Medicine and Me” will take place from 12.30pm – 5.30pm at the Guy Whittle Auditorium, Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE.

It is very much a patient and public educational event so you are very welcome to attend but places are limited so register ASAP. Patients, their carers and family members attend for free. Medical students and trainee doctors/trainee healthcare professionals can also attend Medicine and Me meetings for free.
