Saving Faces researchers demonstrating the Cyscope technology at the 2009 Schools Science Conference were overwhelmed by the interest in our work.
More than 400 learners attended the conference and the Saving Faces stand was a firm favourite. Researchers, Chris Turton and Jack Dentith, demonstrated how the Cyscope works and practically highlighted the dangers of binge drinking.
Learners were asked to guess how many units drinks like wine and beer contained. Both learners and teachers were stunned to realise how easy it is to go over the legal drinking limit. Learners completed questionnaires that will link up with the Saving Faces research on the dangers of binge-drinking.
