The management of diseases which involve the orbit and skull base is challenging, and requires effective collaboration across a wide range of specialties. Frequently, the decision to observe, operate or irradiate in a given patient is complex, and best practice may be uncertain, and vary from one patient to another.
The National Facial, Oral and Oculoplastic Research Centre (NFORC) is partnering with The St John Ophthalmic Association (SOA) in inviting you to The Neuro-Orbital Symposium, the first in a series of masterclasses aimed at all clinicians who manage such patients. The Faculty from Manchester, London and Harvard brings together experts from related disciplines, explores the most modern treatments, and provide a forum for frank discussion and debate. Our very own Professor Iain Hutchison will be speaking at the event on the ‘sarcomas of the skull base and orbit’.
This Neuro-Orbital Symposium is hosted at The Cavalry and Guards Club, Piccadilly, offering a unique and elegant setting for the meeting. Registration includes refreshments on arrival and during the day, and formal lunch in the Club’s private dining room. For those wishing to join their partners for lunch, a ‘lunch-only’ ticket is available.
The proceeds from this meeting go directly to support St John’s sight-saving work in Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza. We train nurses and doctors in a challenging environment, and your support is greatly appreciated.
